The period for submitting comments to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) ends today at 5pm. The OLCC held a public meeting on the amendments on November 16, 2018. Public commenters cited issues with the amendments to the packaging and labeling rules relating to tiny packaging and sample size restrictions. Commenters also noted that amendments around surveillance tape retention requirements requires additional consideration as the majority of violations are caused by a faulty vendor. OLCC staff are taking these comments under consideration.
